Food is excellent and very fairly priced. The 26 fajitas for 2 is enough food to feed a family of 4. Beats a lot of the more popular Charleston area Mexican joints on price and flavor.

I've been going here for the last 15 years and figure a review is long overdue. La Carreta for the longest time had amazing energy inside and outside, but that's a changed a bit which I believe was because they lost their alcohol license for a period of time (back now). The high quality of the food has remained consistent since I first started going here. They have amazing cheese dip, quesadillas, and burritos. I'm able to be in and out for a sit down in 15-20 minutes if I want a quick stop. Probably due time for a cosmetic upgrade outside and inside because this place deserves to be a regular spot everyone. If you've read this far an considering going, the food will not disappoint!
